For my feature I chose to take photos showcasing and telling the story of an Open Mic Night hosted by the Multicultural Inclusion Center on campus. The theme of the event was 90s-2000s R&B and I tried to portray that theme and purpose of the event through these photos.

I have put together these five photos from an ATV trip I took here in St. George. The first three were taken on my sony a4000 camera 0.25 m lens and The last two were taken on my iPhone 6s camera, after my camera died on our trip back.  This first photo is an establish shot that displays the vast terrain of ombre blue skies and vibrant rock.  1/80 F14 ISO 100  This next photo is the medium shot and gives context to the first by showing the vehicles that enabled us to reach our destination. Shoot Tight Pt. 2

For this assignment my mind immediately went to flowers because many of them are so small and delicate yet have so many pretty details. I used a one bulb lamp for my lighting so it was a little challenging for me and took a while to play with and just my camera to get these photos. My favorite is of the single rose.
